Burn Ban

NO OPEN-AIR BURNING IN:
The Township of Blandford-Blenheim
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
Due to the current and projected dry and hot weather conditions, and for public safety reasons all open-air burning is banned/prohibited until further notice.
The open-air burning ban:
• Suspends all existing Burn Permits
• Prohibits all recreational fires, and
• Applies to the issuance of new Burn Permits.
The Township of Blandford-Blenheim Fire Department will not approve any controlled burns until further notice.
The open-air burning ban will be lifted when weather conditions are deemed safe by the Township of Blandford-Blenheim Chief Fire Official.
