Press Release: New CAO
PRESS RELEASE
Mayor Mark Peterson and Council are pleased to announce Josh Brick as the Township of
Blandford-Blenheim's new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) effective January 1, 2024.
Mr. Brick brings a diverse knowledge of municipal government and a track record of positive
results in the areas of legislative services, development services and corporate modernization,
most recently as the Director of Corporate Services with the Town of Aylmer. His experience and
passion for community service make him a great fit for the role of CAO at the Township of
Blandford-Blenheim.
"I am excited to be taking on this new role with the Township of Blandford-Blenheim and look
forward to working with an experienced and dedicated staffing complement, as well as the
Township's community partners, in supporting Council's vision and implementing its goals," said
Mr. Brick.
"The position of CAO is not only extremely demanding, but also vital to how our Township
functions. It was essential that the Township Council selected the right candidate to fill the most
senior administrative position in the municipality. We are confident that Mr. Brick will meet the
positional demands and bring a fresh perspective to the Township of Blandford-Blenheim in the
New Year. We also want to express our deepest appreciation to our outgoing CAO, Rodger
Mordue, for his years of dedicated service to the Township of Blandford-Blenheim as a member of
Township Council and most recently as CAO," said Mayor Mark Peterson.
